W&A New Appointments

W&A are keen to congratulate Guy Gracie on becoming our new Managing Director.

Guy joined W&A as the first external appointment back in 2005 and since then has been a key member of the W&A leadership team as the business grew. Since then, Guy has become a significant part of the new W&A ownership team established following an MBO in 2020 alongside colleagues Ross McQuarrie and Michele Boyton.

Guy commented “I am really fortunate to work in a role and environment that I love and this recent development allows me the opportunity to combine working with our fantastic team to continue to develop the W&A offering, whilst partnering with my network in the finance community and supporting them with their senior recruitment requirements.

The year ahead may well have some challenges, with a somewhat uncertain economic outlook, high employment levels, and stiff competition in candidate attraction and retention but at W&A we look forward with optimism and excitement as this period will also bring opportunity. 

We’ll endeavour to continue to evolve our business to fit market requirements and to work with valued customers to provide a best-in-class recruitment service, access to the best opportunities and the most diverse and high calibre talent in the market.

We are equally delighted that our Founding Director, Ian Wilkinson, will continue to form a core pillar of our business and this internal transition underpins W&A’s desire to keep strong continuity in all we do, to build upon the excellent foundations we have worked so hard to set together and to continue to provide a genuine specialist recruitment offering based on strong shared values.

As we head into 2023, W&A’s 20th anniversary year, we’re incredibly excited about all that lies ahead, the next phase of the W&A journey and we look forward to working with you.”
