Technology Audit Manager - Edinburgh

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid Working)

W&A is working with a leading organisation to appoint a Technology Audit Manager. This is a senior opportunity within an established audit function, focused on delivering assurance across a wide range of technology-led activity.

You’ll lead high-impact audits that offer independent insight and assurance over emerging technology risks in a fast-paced, constantly evolving business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or manage audits across technology
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks and control frameworks early in the change lifecycle
• Produce clear, high-quality audit reports with actionable findings
• Use data and research to shape audit planning and identify emerging risks
• Coach team members, support audit planning, and contribute to team development
• Influence the wider business by championing strong risk management during change

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong background in IT audit, internal audit, or technology risk management
• Ability to lead audit engagements end-to-end with a strategic and commercial mindset
• Comfortable working across technical and business teams
• Experience auditing technology-enabled transformation programmes or agile delivery environments
• Knowledge of how to use or apply data analytics to drive impact audit outcomes, continuous risk monitoring and data analysis beneficial
