Technology & Transformation Audit Manager - Edinburgh

W&A is partnering with a major player in the UK financial services sector to find an Audit Manager specialising in Technology and Transformation.

Location: Edinburgh or Bristol (Hybrid)

The Role

You’ll take the lead on a variety of audits with a focus on transformational technology initiatives, supporting a strategic and integrated approach across the business. You'll provide high-quality, independent assurance on controls and play a vital role in embedding good risk management practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading or contributing to audits of cloud technology, software development, and AI-driven processes.
• Evaluating and enhancing automated business controls during transformational change.
• Supporting and mentoring junior auditors and contributing to team capability-building.
• Engaging with senior stakeholders to provide meaningful insights and challenge.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience auditing cloud environments, development lifecycles, or modern engineering practices.
• A strong understanding of how emerging tech like AI integrates with business processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver impactful audit reports.
• Professional audit qualifications (e.g. CISA, cloud certifications) are desirable but not essential.
