Payroll Assistant – Stirling – Car Required

W&A are thrilled to be partnering with their client in Stirling in their search for a Payroll Assistant. This role does not require previous payroll experience, the successful candidate could come from a general finance background and be keen to learn new skills.

Your New Role

The successful candidate will support the finance team to provide a first-class payroll service to its clients. 

Key duties include:

  • Processing payroll for all employees accurately and on time ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Maintain and update employee records ensuring confidentiality
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for management analysis, including payroll summaries and labour cost reports
  • Handle enquiries related to payroll from employees and management in a professional manner
  • Support as required to ensure seamless integration between payroll and financial systems
  • Experience of using Xero and Sage is desirable  

The successful candidate :

  • Excellent team working and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • 2 years’ experience in a payroll or accounts role
  • Experience of using Xero and Sage
