Order to Cash - Transformation Lead - Central Scotland

W&A is partnering with a business to recruit an Order to Cash - Transformation Lead outside of Glasgow. This is a broad transformation role with ownership of the design and delivery of Order to Cash initiatives, including target operating model development, process standardisation, systems-enabled change and working capital improvement.

The Opportunity

You will lead the Order to Cash workstream, shaping standardised processes and the future operating model across the business. The remit covers process design, tools and applications, project governance, continuous improvement and working capital performance, with responsibility for ensuring initiatives are coordinated effectively and delivered with risks, issues and interdependencies properly managed.

The role will also act as a subject matter expert within a wider ERP rollout, helping embed consistent O2C processes, controls and ways of working as change is implemented across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design of the target operating model for Order to Cash processes, working closely with upstream customer management and billing teams.
• Define the process taxonomy and establish the tools and applications needed to support the future O2C operating model.
• Design workstream aims, initiatives and delivery plans, including risks, issues, interdependencies, resource requirements and budget needs.
• Act as the O2C subject matter expert within the ERP rollout, supporting the consistent implementation of processes, controls and ways of working.
• Build the O2C workstream roadmap and ensure projects follow agreed governance, approvals and project methodology.
• Design standardised O2C KPIs and support consistent measurement across operational sites.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across end-to-end O2C processes.
• Analyse the drivers of working capital performance, identify improvement opportunities and lead the resulting action plans.
• Ensure appropriate change management and communications are in place across relevant projects.

What You'll Bring

• The ability to take ownership of complex Order to Cash process and transformation activity from design through to execution.
• Strong process-thinking skills, with the confidence to shape operating models, controls, KPIs and improvement plans.
• Experience working across projects or programmes where risks, dependencies, governance and change activity need to be managed carefully.
• The ability to work across finance and wider business teams, bringing structure and consistency to end-to-end processes.
• A practical approach to identifying and delivering working capital and process improvement opportunities.

Package & Benefits

• Salary of £54,000 - £70,000.
