MI & Reporting Lead - Glasgow / Western central belt

This Glasgow city centre role offers the opportunity to lead management information and reporting within a global business undergoing significant transformation. You’ll become a subject matter expert, driving process improvement, system implementation, and world-class reporting practices.

The Opportunity

As MI & Reporting Lead, you’ll support the finance transformation journey by designing processes, configuring systems, and leading dual-run financial reporting in a new ERP environment. Your work will shape reporting and analysis to enable efficient month-end close, robust forecasting, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and implement reporting to support analysis and forecasting.
• Lead data cleansing and conversion activities for ERP migration.
• Support policy and process design for reporting and MI.
• Deliver dual run reporting processes and system testing.
• Contribute to training and “train the trainer” activities.
• Partner with finance, IT, and transformation stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in financial and management reporting.
• Strong financial systems knowledge, ideally including Power BI.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables).
• Experience in shared services or transformation environments.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in finance, business, or technical field (professional qualification advantageous).
