Management Accountant (6 month contract)

We’re supporting a global manufacturing business in Arbroath to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a 6 month contract. This role is a backfill while the current postholder supports aa system implementation, so you’ll step straight into a hands on, operationally focused finance role.

You’ll work closely with the site operational teams, taking ownership of reporting, analysis and costing in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Producing management accounts and key site reporting
• Delivering variance analysis including SCV and PPV
• Supporting operational decision making through insight and analysis
• Partnering with manufacturing teams to understand cost drivers
• Leading on product costing (BOM, routing, purchase price)
• Balance sheet reconciliations and GL review
• Working with SAP data and building out meaningful reporting in Excel

What we’re looking for

• Proven management accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong costing and variance analysis background
• Confident working closely with non finance stakeholders
• Strong Excel skills and SAP experience
• Available to start quickly and happy to be onsite full time

What’s on offer

• Competitive salary (c.£55,000 to £65,000) or day rate equivalent inside IR35
