W&A are delighted to be partnering with an education body in Edinburgh in the search for a Part Qualified Management Accountant. My client is seeking someone who is proactive and detail-oriented with the confidence and ability to present to the senior leadership team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and performance reports
• Analyse financial data to support departmental budgets and business planning
• Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insight and drive efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Support year-end processes, audits and ad hoc reporting

Experience Sought :

• ACCA / CIMA part qualified 
• Proven experience in management accounting, ideally in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills—ability to explain financials to non-financial stakeholders
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with ERP systems is a bonus
