Are you a qualified finance professional with strong group reporting expertise, looking for a leadership opportunity? 

W&A is supporting an organisation seeking a Group Reporting Manager on a 15 month contract. Based in the Scottish Borders, this hybrid role requires two days per week on site, offering the chance to play a pivotal part in a high performing finance function. 

The Opportunity 

Lead the preparation, consolidation and analysis of group financial results, ensuring timely, accurate reporting under IFRS. You’ll be a key liaison between regional finance teams and senior leadership, driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls while providing insightful analysis to support decision making. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own the group consolidation file and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal policies. 

  • Manage, coach and develop a small finance team. 

  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting from affiliates to meet deadlines and group expectations. 

  • Present consolidated results and insights to senior stakeholders. 

  • Lead external audit coordination and resolve queries promptly. 

  • Maintain a robust control environment; prepare statutory accounts and supporting documentation. 

  • Support treasury activities (cash forecasting and liquidity planning). 

  • Champion process improvements and reporting automation. 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with solid post qualification experience. 

  • Proven background in group consolidation and statutory reporting. 

  • People leadership experience with the ability to develop others. 

  • Advanced Excel; experience with major finance ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics advantageous). 

  • Clear communicator, strong stakeholder management, detail driven and deadline focused. 

Package & Benefits
