Our cutting-edge tech client has a unique contract opportunity for a qualified accountant to join their international team on a contract basis. This role will most likely be offered on a 6-9 month contract basis but there is potential for permanent for the right individual. You will be involved in managing the monthly accounting process for Group stock and sales to intercompany and partner companies. You will also be involved in the consolidation of the Group annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Key responsibilities of this role will include: • Managing the monthly accounting process for stock and sales • Preparing monthly and quarterly royalty accruals and reporting to partner companies • Managing the consolidation process for annual budget and quarterly forecasts • Involvement with the Group finance team to generate and review annual Group budgets and quarterly forecasts • Involvement with the Group finance team to further develop, roll out and report Group management accounts in the new franchise structure Position Requirements • Qualified accountant with experience working with international affiliates • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with head office functions and overseas affiliates • Strong experience and expertise in using excel for business modelling • Experience in developing reporting systems • Good communication skills, written, verbal and presentational • Some international travel may be necessary
