Interim Finance Contractor – Group Reporting / Technical Accounting

Location: Edinburgh, hybrid, 2 days in office
Duration: 3 months initially, potential to extend
Day Rate: £350-400/day (inside IR35)

Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a hands-on finance contractor to support their Group Finance team during a period of change and increased workload. The role provides an excellent opportunity to apply technical accounting expertise in a fast-moving, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support group financial reporting and month-end close processes
• Assist with technical accounting, audit liaison, and documentation
• Contribute to consolidation processes and reporting improvements
• Provide additional capacity to the finance team during temporary gaps

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant
• Strong technical accounting experience
• Experience in group reporting and consolidations highly preferred
• Able to work independently, proactively and with a hands-on approach
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving finance function

Additional Information:

• Hybrid working: 2 days in office, remainder flexible
• Initial 3-month contract, with potential for strong exposure across finance operations
