Part Qualified Financial Accountant Sought - Hybrid Offering - Fife

Wilkinson & Associates are partnering with a manufacturing company based in Dunfermline to help source a Part Qualified Financial Accountant. Our client offers a hybrid working model. 

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role exists to support the delivery & smooth operations of the overseas business units. 

The role is well suited to recently part qualified accountants and those having trained in either practice or industry are invited to apply.  

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail to succeed and grow in a market leading and dynamic business. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support assigned budget holders through monthly meetings to discuss overheads 
• Supports Financial Accountant on matters relating to legal entities throughout the International Region, including statutory accounting, audit and tax compliance 
• Supporting the control environment via the development of processes & procedures to enhance and improve controls 
• VAT compliance for the multiple entities, including Intrastat and EC Sales reporting 
• Oversee specific areas of Fixed Assets, Concur, expenses, Finance Lease Accounting 
• Ad hoc project work 

Skills / Experience Needed: 

Essential: 

• Part Qualified / Actively sitting exams  – CIMA, ACCA, CA 
• Good time management skills to ensure all reports are delivered in a timely manner 
• Good attention to detail with strong ability to report accurately 
• Good computer skills (MS Office applications) 

Advantageous: 

• Previous experience of statutory accounts 
• Corporate Tax knowledge 
• Previous experience in a customer focused environment
