Role Context:

The Finance Transformation Programme is passionate about future-proofing the Finance proposition for colleagues, customers and partners. Within Financial Operations & Control (FO&C), they are therefore going through meaningful change in support of their strategic aims, including implementing a strategic Cloud ERP and embedding global processes to ensure they are well placed to respond to business and regulatory demands.

Role Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Global Head of FO&C, we are looking for an individual with an appetite for change and continuous improvement to join the team to support FO&C involvement across all project workstreams. They will be delivery focussed, thrive working at pace and comfortable with ambiguity while still strive to deliver to the highest possible standard.

This will be a varied role with the opportunity to support FO&C, including preparation of weekly status; coordinating problem solving activity and supporting embedding change into BAU. This role will also carry out tasks in support of embedding our operating model across all FO&C teams, as required.

Key Outcomes and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of priorities- act as key liaison with workstream leads and their implementation partner, taking ownership for reporting against key landmarks and deliverables across all FO&C impacted workstreams.
  • Validation of timetable and key outcomes with the Global Head of Financial Operations & Control.
  • Meeting organisation - ownership of weekly update meetings to support oversight, escalation and updates ahead of the steering committee to ensure end to end understanding of delivery. This includes all associated administrative tasks.
  • Workstreams - acting as liaison across all workstreams with leads, SMEs and implementation partner to ensure high quality delivery and support of activities required to embed changes into BAU.
  • Lead and follow up on actions from problem solving activities within the team.
  • Provide support for the Global Head of Financial Operations & Control and their FO&C leadership team as required in the execution of transformation priorities and embedding the operating model.

 

Role Specific Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in and detailed understanding of delivery of change within Finance. Within Financial Services is preferred.
