W&A is working in exclusive partnership with a Grangemouth-based business to appoint a Finance Manager for a 12-month maternity leave cover. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role combines financial planning and reporting with business partnering, revenue ownership and senior stakeholder exposure.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

The Opportunity
This is a broad Finance Manager role working closely with senior leaders across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate, clear financial information, translating performance into useful insight and supporting operational and strategic decision-making.
A key part of the remit is ownership of revenue reporting, forecasting and performance monitoring, alongside close collaboration with operational, commercial and finance stakeholders. The role also works with an wider Corporate Finance team to support wider reporting and analysis across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting, latest outlooks and monthly forecasting, ensuring financial plans are robust and clearly communicated.
Present financial plans, results, forecasts and performance analysis to senior stakeholders.
Deliver insightful financial reporting and variance analysis to support operational performance.
Track and forecast short-term financial performance, highlighting risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
Own revenue forecasting, reporting, analysis and performance monitoring.
Take responsibility for debtor management, cash recovery and DSO performance, working with commercial teams, customers and shared services.
Monitor accounts receivable performance and identify actions to improve cash collection and working capital.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support emerging business issues and decision-making.
Review financial processes, controls and reporting methods, identifying opportunities for improvement and greater efficiency.
Partner with operational, commercial and finance teams on business initiatives, projects and wider strategic activity.
What You'll Bring
Qualified accountant - CA, CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
Relevant financial planning, forecasting and reporting experience.
Project accounting experience.
Ability to identify, assess and resolve complex financial issues.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work closely with senior leaders.
A track record of delivering results and providing clear, commercially useful financial insight.
SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
