Are you a qualified finance professional looking for a role that combines flexibility with impact?
This newly created Finance Business Partner position offers the chance to play a pivotal role within a purpose-driven organisation, providing valuable financial insight and operational support across a diverse group structure.
The position is hybrid, with a preference for candidates able to spend an average of five days per month on site in the Argyll & Bute area.
Our client may also consider experienced contractors who are immediately available to provide interim support, with flexibility on location.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior stakeholders, you’ll take ownership of core financial processes, contribute to strategic planning, and help drive performance across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly or recently qualified accountant seeking to make their first move from practice, or for someone with early post-qualification industry experience who is eager to broaden their exposure in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts
Ownership of P&L and balance sheet preparation for audit
Business partnering with senior stakeholders across group entities
Delivery of statutory accounts and audit readiness
Supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
Driving process improvements and compliance initiatives
Contribution to ad hoc projects, including new company setups and strategic initiatives
What You’ll Bring
Qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with up to a few years’ post-qualification experience
Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting and month-end processes
Ability to produce management accounts and support external audit processes
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
(Desirable) Experience in FP&A, pricing analysis or business partnering

Salary up to £50,000 plus benefits
