W&A is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Dunfermline as they seek to hire a Finance Business Partner, who will support the delivery of strong commercial analysis, financial reporting & control for the designated business unit.
Role Profile:
Produces insightful management information on projects and approved business cases
Report & investigate monthly variances, including headcount to key stakeholders, supporting the management of those risk & opportunities
Manage the in-year and life financial forecast for projects
Ensure strong governance exists including project gate oversight & spend controls
Responsible for annual budget process across product development areas
Responsible for the accurate timely & production of management accounts
Provide insightful analytics to key stakeholders & finance to enhance common understanding of financial status on projects & impact to projected life spend
Partner with stakeholders to deliver new products/features to market
Responsible for reconciliations to ensure controls environment operates effectively
Maintains and updates policies and procedures
About You:
A qualified accountant with post-qualified experience in a similar role
Excellent communication & organisational skills, with attention to detail
Focused on delivering operational excellence within structured timeframes
Excellent IT skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, produce accurate & cohesive reports for management
Background in management accounting
Experience of product development beneficial.
Previous international experience beneficial.
Successful problem solving in a cross functional team.
