Based in Edinburgh, this permanent, office-based role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive finance team.
The Opportunity
This is a broad and hands-on finance role that combines day-to-day financial operations with opportunities to improve processes and support systems development. You'll play a central role in ensuring transactions are processed accurately, controls are maintained, and finance services are delivered efficiently across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily banking activities, reconciliations and payment processing.
• Oversee employee expenses, corporate cards and cash management activities.
• Support the administration of financial platforms and finance systems.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting and expenditure monitoring activities.
• Drive process improvements and support system implementation projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to deliver an efficient finance service.
About You
• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, payments and transactional finance processes.
• Confident using finance systems and Excel.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• A proactive mindset with a desire to identify efficiencies and improve processes.
Package & Benefits
• £30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
• 30 days annual leave plus additional Christmas and Easter closure days.
