Credit Controller - Glasgow / Western central belt

I’m pleased to be recruiting for a Credit Control position based in Glasgow. This role offers a flexible hybrid working policy with 3 days a week in the office and 2 at home. Due to the international nature of the business, the role will involve some alignment with US working hours.

As Credit Controller, you’ll ensure timely invoice payments, prioritising telephone contact where possible. This role offers the chance to build strong working relationships across regions while developing expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring prompt payment of invoices
• Prioritise telephone contact to maintain effective client communication
• Deliver against monthly aged debt, cash collection and DSO targets
• Produce customer statements and maintain accurate records
• Participate in regular ledger reviews and escalate accounts where appropriate
• Support compliance by adhering to company processes and financial controls

What You’ll Bring

• Previous finance or collections experience, ideally in a B2B environment
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume ledger and meet collection targets
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence liaising at all levels
• Self-starter approach with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
