Commercial Project Manager - Edinburgh

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

We are working with a rapid-growth start-up business in Edinburgh to identify a proactive problem solver with a blend of Business Analysis and Project Management experience to join their growing Project Management function. The business has experienced exponential growth over the past 2 years and is on track to continue that growth over the next few years as it continues to deliver first class service to it's ever-growing customer base. The Project Management function will have a key role supporting both the scaling of the business across all aspects of People, Process and Technology as well as the desire of the business to adopt a continual improvement mindset. The role of Commercial Project Manager will cover;

Management of a portfolio of change initiatives across the entire business.
Ensuring all projects have a clearly defined set of requirements and benefits before sign-off.
Engaging with the leadership team providing challenge and input into the C-suite decision making progress specifically around priorities and dependencies between projects within the change portfolio
Leading on internal communications around progress and delivery of projects within your portfolio
Ultimately manage your personal roadmap, leading on the delivery of projects as required in line with business needs and across the entire backdrop of the business

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a sharp focus on the detailed capturing and detailing of business requirements and an ability to adapt to various different types of project activity across multiple stakeholders. This is not a purely delivery-focused PM role with the primary focus being on the definition and delivery of wider business benefits. Due to the current size of the organisation and the flat structure it operates, this role will provide significant input to the future shape and strategy of the business, thus providing the successful candidate with excellent development opportunities.
