Be part of a business helping to shape the UK’s renewable energy future, while taking ownership of a varied and hands-on finance and office support role at the heart of day-to-day operations.

We’re supporting a growing renewable energy business with a strong UK and Ireland presence to appoint a Bookkeeper / Office Administrator. Based in Alloa (fully office-based), this is a permanent opportunity, ideally full-time (37.5 hours per week), with flexibility to consider part-time applicants (minimum 30 hours) for the right individual.

This is a broad and varied position, combining transactional finance, bookkeeping and general office administration. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records across the group, supporting purchase-to-pay processes, reconciliations and VAT returns, while also assisting with wider office coordination.

It’s ideally suited to someone who takes pride in detail, enjoys working independently once established, and thrives in a dynamic, growing environment.

  • Register, monitor and process accounts payable invoices
  • Prepare and support vendor payment runs

About You

  • Proven experience in a bookkeeping or finance administration role, ideally within a small to medium-sized business
  • Strong accounts payable experience
  • Experience using financial management systems (Sage Intacct or similar highly advantageous)
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines
  • Professional, discreet and committed to maintaining strict commercial confidentiality
  • Positive, proactive and adaptable approach to work

A recognised bookkeeping or accounting qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
