Assistant Accountant - Dundee

Progress your finance career in a supportive and collaborative environment with this opportunity to join a growing organisation as an Assistant Accountant. Based onsite in Dundee, you’ll play a key role in accurate financial reporting and smooth month-end processes.

The Opportunity

You’ll support the Finance Business Partners across the UK and internationally, gaining broad exposure across month-end reporting, VAT, payroll, and audit. This varied role offers excellent scope to develop your skills in financial reporting, compliance, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing reconciliations and journal entries
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Reconciling inventory records with financial data
• Assisting with payroll and VAT returns
• Preparing audit schedules and government returns
• Contributing to reporting, analysis, and controls

What You’ll Bring

• Part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience preparing accounts to trial balance
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and work well in a team
