Director - Interim, Contracts & Not-for-Profit

Andrea leads our Interim & Contracts division, supporting organisations across all sectors and geographies with high-calibre finance professionals for project, transformation and short-term resourcing needs. She is also the firm’s specialist in permanent recruitment for the Not-for-Profit sector, partnering with charities and public bodies as demand for values-driven finance leadership continues to grow.

A Chartered Accountant, Andrea began her career in external and internal audit and business risk services within the Big 4, working across Scotland and Australia. She joined W&A in 2006 to establish our interim business and has since become a trusted adviser to both clients and candidates navigating career transitions, contracting and complex hiring requirements.

Known for her calm, honest and relationship-focused approach, Andrea guides candidates and clients through each stage with clarity, empathy and commitment.

Outside of work, Andrea is involved in local charity and community initiatives, including being a Career-Ready Mentor.  When she’s not supporting clients and candidates, she’s usually planning family weekends away, trying new recipes or working (very slowly) on the opening chapter of her future bestseller.
