Wilkinson & Associates is working with a retail bank in Edinburgh to help source a Regulatory Reporting Manager for a 18-month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of accurate regulatory reporting to PRA, BoE and FCA within a robust control environment. Additionally, you will be supporting the delivery of the the wider team's objectives whilst driving efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the approval process and submission timetable for regulatory reporting and making recommendation for submission to the regulator. Particular focus on EBA and PRA liquidity returns - LCR, NSFR, ALMM and PRA110
  • Managing production and review of the daily Board Liquidity and Funding Risk Limits dashboard
  • Liaising with other members of the team to keep up to date with regulatory reporting changes and ensure these are reflected in the reporting within implementation deadlines set by the regulator
  • Supporting the team to ensure returns are delivered in a timely manner, performing reviews to ensure these are accurate, whilst also creating, embedding and maintaining a strong robust control framework
  • Assisting in reviewing the interpretations embedded within processes and documented in the deep dive reviews against regulator guidelines, helping to advise on solutions where gaps are identified
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, primarily Treasury, Enterprise Data Services, 2LOD and 3LOD to ensure that data required to complete returns is produced with strong controls embedded
  • Managing stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and influencing stakeholders to meet changing requirements, delivery within tight timelines whilst also maintaining strong controls and data quality
  • Providing Senior Management with an overview of returns, explaining key movements / assumptions

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Regulatory reporting experience is advantageous with specific emphasis on Liquidity reporting
  • Experience of coaching and developing others to deliver great service
  • Strong team collaboration skills, able to influence both finance and non-finance individuals.
