Wilkinson & Associates is partnering with a highly successful FinTech to help source an Intercompany Accountant.  

The business has seen consistent year-on-year growth and continues on the upward trajectory as they implement their growth strategy.   

Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, the role holder will own the group-wide intercompany processes working closely with the groups global finance teams. Additionally, the role will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing intercompany transactions and relationships across the group. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable individual to learn and develop in an evolving business environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the Group intercompany reconciliation process 

  • Own policies on intercompany transactions across the Group and advising on best practice 

  • Ensure intercompany relationships are supported by appropriate contracts or intercompany agreements 

  • Ensure intercompany transactions across the Group are entered into consistently and in line with the Group’s transfer pricing policy 

  • Work closely with the Treasury department to settle intercompany balances on a regular basis and hedge any material FX exposures to reduce exchange rate risks 

  • Manage the Group’s IP sharing agreement and supporting calculations 

  • Calculate intercompany interest payable between Group entities 

  • Oversee intercompany netting process 

  • Work with regional finance teams and be main point of contact for queries of treatment of shared costs and other intercompany transactions 

  • Working closely with procurement and commercial departments to identify group wide costs and ensure they are appropriately allocated 

Required Skills & Abilities:  

  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 

  • Previous intercompany experience for a large multinational Group 

  • Previous exposure to the Financial Services industry 

  • Comfortable managing own workload to ensure deadlines are met 

  • Excellent communication skills, interacting with people at all levels and across all regions of the business including those in different time zones 

  • Personal commitment to high quality work and able to demonstrate good attention to detail 

  • MS Excel knowledge to advance level
