Wilkinson & Associates is partnering with a highly successful FinTech to help source a Group Finance Manager.
The business has seen consistent year-on-year growth and continues on the upward trajectory as they implement their growth strategy.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the role will support the production of the consolidated group’s financial reporting. The role will own day-to-day financial processes for entities within the group and follow and develop internal controls and processes to ensure financial information for these entities is recorded in an accurate and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the ledgers for selected Group entities including overseeing Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L reviews
Oversee the Group payroll process and reconciliations whilst working closely with the Group HR department
Support the UK VAT return process and ensure compliance with VAT requirements
Be main point of contact for information request from Group tax team
Oversee Group bank reconciliation process
Respond to Group audit requests from Group auditors
Review Group accounting processes to ensure strong control environment is maintained
Provide analysis to Group Financial reporting manager on operating expenses against budget
Required Skills & Abilities:
Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role
Previous exposure to the Financial Services industry
Previous experience working with payroll and UK VAT returns is advantageous
Comfortable managing own workload to ensure deadlines are met
Excellent communication skills, interacting with people at all levels and across all regions of the business including those in different time zones
Personal commitment to high quality work and able to demonstrate good attention to detail
