Forensic Accounting Qualified Assistant – Full time

Wilkinson & Associates are working with a mid-tier practice firm to help source a Forensic Accountant. Our client has an inclusive culture supporting home and flexible working.
Our client’s continued and sustained growth means they are looking to further strengthen their team. The Forensic accounting team deals with a variety of forensic accounting assignments including share and business valuations, loss of profit and personal injury claims, professional negligence claims, business sale disputes and fraud investigation.
The team require a motivated individual who is seeking a challenging career move with opportunities to develop their own technical and leadership skills within the firm. The firm has a proven track record of development and promotion of staff through their collaborative and supportive team.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist directors in fieldwork and report writing
Assist directors, develop the forensic accounting services provided including development of strategy
Assist directors with forensic accounting caseload of market leading team
Undertake detailed financial analysis, investigation and interpretation
Assist with report drafting
Proactively contribute to departmental and firm-wide business development activities
Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (or ACCA equivalent)
Possess strong IT skills including ability to adapt to / utilise a variety of IT packages / software
Have experience in Practical auditing / accounts preparation essential
Effective communicator with excellent report writing skills
Highly organised with the ability to cope with multiple responsibilities
Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards of both personal and professional performance with the ability to take ownership of tasks
Resilient and tenacious with the ability to remain motivated under pressure
