Decision Support Manager, Change (12 month FTC) - Edinburgh

Wilkinson & Associates is working with a retail bank in Edinburgh to help source a Decision Support Manager, Change for a 12 month FTC. Our client recognises the importance of work life balance offering flexibility and home working.

The role will manage the financial performance of Change & Transformation and provide timely and accurate analysis to internal and external stakeholders in order to aid the decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial leadership to Change & Transformation, ensuring alignment of planning and reporting cycles to bank wide requirements
• Reporting, analysing and interpreting actuals and forecasts for delivery costs as well as ongoing costs and benefits
• Review of business cases before submission for approval, ensuring Finance Business Partners have signed off, consistent treatment for capital spend and gaps to transformation/change long term plan
• Working closely with PMO to ensure alignment across portfolio management
• Developing and providing ad-hoc analysis and insight to improve business performance and highlight areas of concern
• Manage and co-ordinate the planning process for Change & Transformation ensuring robust, achievable and stretching plans are in place

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Professional accountancy qualification with at least 3 years post qualification experience
• Experience of managing Senior Stakeholders
• Experience of the Financial Services industry
• Data analysis skills
• Verbal and visual presentation skills
