Credit Controller - Glasgow / Western central belt

Credit Controller - Glasgow - Up to £40,000

I'm pleased to be partnering with a busy organisation based in Glasgow to recruit a Credit Controller on a 6 month basis. This is a short-term contract so as to clear an outstanding backlog of aged debts.

This role reports into the Glasgow office 5 days a week on-site.

Working in the Credit Control team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate data within your accounts, and liaising with clients to ensure timely payments. This role will suit someone who is eager to get on the phone to establish relationships.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring invoices are paid promptly,
• Working your way through an aged debtor list in order to clear an existing backlog,
• Prioritising telephone contact where possible,
• Developing relationships with key stakeholders,
• Resolving queries,
• Maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

This role requires someone to have a strong background in Credit Control. Someone eager to get stuck in and clear their way through their list would get on well in this role.
