Wilkinson & Associates is partnering with a retail bank headquartered in Edinburgh, seeking to hire a Change Assurance Manager.

This role will support the senior team members and the Head of Audit in delivery of the audit plan for a wide range of Change activities. You’ll engage with stakeholders, using your knowledge of Change assurance to provide insights and promote improvement in the risk and control environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the wider audit team to support the planning and delivery of risk-based audit engagements within resource, cost, time and quality parameters
  • Lead engagements and collaborate with other audit partners to support understanding of the how Changes are identified and delivered in order to help the bank evolve
  • Be innovative, supporting partners by evolving and embedding Change assurance methodology, helping deliver against the IIA standards and the Financial Services Code
  • Be recognised by stakeholders as providing value and insight and use this to support the Head of Audit in development of the audit strategy and plan
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory and industry changes
  • Display accountable behaviours and values

 Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment where Change can be complex and is delivered at pace, ideally, but not necessarily within banking
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, proven ability to deliver to tight timelines, experience with managing and delivering multiple tasks at the same time
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience of producing high quality outputs; excellent attention to detail
  • A strong understanding of Change delivery and outcome risks and controls, and an ability to apply this to work
  • Excellent at communicating and building relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Take the lead in the delivery of agreed change projects to achieve continuous improvement for Audit
  • Prior experience within Audit / Risk Oversight functions is preferable
