Our client is looking to recruit a passionate Change Auditor

Their Internal Audit team has around 45 people based across the UK. Their primary role is to help the board and executive management to protect the company’s assets, reputation and sustainability. We do this by assessing whether signification risks have been identified and reported, providing a view on the design and operation of key controls and challenging management to improve effectiveness governance, risk management and internal controls.

Internal Audit plays an important role. They are the third line of defence providing independent assurance over the risks faced by the bank. Your role as a Change Auditor is to support the senior team members and the Head of Audit in delivery of the audit plan for the wide range of Change activities.  You’ll engage with our stakeholders, using your knowledge of controls and change assurance to provide insights and promote improvement in the risk and control environment.  You will be expected to collaborate with other audit partners, to support our understanding of the how Changes are identified and delivered to help our business evolve and grow.

What we need today

  • Experience working in a fast-moving environment where Change can be complex and is delivered at pace, ideally, but not necessarily within banking.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, proven ability to deliver to tight timelines, experience with managing and delivering multiple tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience of producing high quality outputs; excellent attention to detail.
  • A good understanding of controls or Change delivery risks, and an ability to apply this to your audit work.
  • Excellent at communicating and building relationships with internal stakeholders to help you deliver.
  • Supports, and in some aspects takes the lead in the delivery of agreed change projects to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Prior experience within Audit / Risk Oversight functions, or in a Change role with exposure to risks and controls, is preferable.
  • Relevant audit or change qualifications would be an advantage.

What we need tomorrow

  • Work collaboratively with the wider audit team to support the planning and delivery of risk-based audit engagements within defined resource, cost, time and quality parameters.
  • Be innovative, taking an interest in and supporting our partners in embedding the understanding of how TSB delivers Change and how Audit can provide assurance over programmes and projects, helping us deliver against the IIA standards and the Financial Services Code.
  • Be recognised by your stakeholders as providing value and insight and use this to support the Head of Audit in development of the audit plan.
  • Committed to developing your career and keeping abreast of regulatory and industry changes.
  • Display accountable behaviours and values – you’re collaborative and things happen because of you.
