As part of the Finance Business Partnering team this high profile role will involve working directly with senior stakeholders across the business, utilising commercial acumen and various analytics to help drive change, revenue growth and profitability.
You will look to partner with the senior stakeholders in an aligned business channel to drive strategic business decisions and the delivery of value generating opportunities.
Summary of role profile:
*Challenging senior stakeholders on business performance against plans.
*Support commercial decision making and investment appraisal
*Proposing corrective action to optimise business performance, when there may be conflicting agendas.
*Deliver improvement in reporting on business trading performance
*Collaborate with and provide advice to senior management to enable decisions to be made based on high quality information and analysis
*Challenging business assumptions and targets in budgets and plans, to drive business performance in your aligned area.
*Provide appropriate P&L analysis and insight along with linkage to business strategies and plans
*Tracking business flow and revenue performance for a trading area, and proposing options and recommendations for corrective actions to drive business performance.
*Investigating and identifying business value and business performance improvement opportunities, to add value to your aligned business area.
To be considered for the role you must be / have:
*Professional accountancy qualification
*Experience in a commercial role
*Ability to present financial information in an engaging manner to senior leaders across the business.
*Knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting
*Experience of applying financial acumen to solve commercial problems
*A "can do attitude" with a solution-focused approach
*The ability to make objective decisions under pressure
