Once we have a detailed understanding of exactly who you are trying to recruit, Wilkinson & Associates will offer you a candid assessment of the market and advise you how to find the best and most suitable candidate for your role. Together we will agree a bespoke plan of action to ensure that we do everything possible to identify the right person for you.
A Database Search
We believe it is our responsibility to add value and to undertake the initial vetting of candidates. We therefore spend time with all candidates who are registered with us to understand their strengths, skills and experience. This allows us to draw up a suitable shortlist for your role based on a thorough understanding of each of our candidate's skills and aspirations.
We strictly adhere to the "quality not quantity" approach and therefore typically aim to send no more than a shortlist of 3 CVs for consideration. If we do not have any suitable individuals we will tell you so we will not waste your time by sending you inappropriate CVs.
An Advertising Campaign
In some cases it may be appropriate to advertise the role in the local, national or trade press. We will help you to draft a suitable advert which effectively sells your company and the role to potential candidates to increase your chances of receiving high quality applicants. As well as sending a general message about the success of your business to the market, the other benefit of advertising a role is that you can be assured that applicants are keen to work for you.
We will conduct the initial interviews for all applicants on your behalf to save you time and to ensure a suitable shortlist of candidates.
Identifying Potential Candidates
The best individuals are not always registered with a recruitment consultancy and need to be found. Using our network of contacts, Wilkinson & Associates are able to "talent spot" to identify strong potential candidates within the market.
We can discreetly approach these candidates to determine whether they may be interested in moving jobs in the future and if they would be interested in working for your company.
The Recruitment Process
Throughout the recruitment process we will act as intermediaries to provide you with honest feedback from the interviewees. We will guide you on their aspirations and remuneration expectations, and help you to successfully deliver an offer to your preferred candidate.
We do not believe that our job ends once you have appointed an individual. Wilkinson & Associates have a duty of care to all of our clients (employers and jobseekers) to ensure the placement continues to be successful for both parties. Your assigned consultant will keep in touch with you to ensure that your expectations have been met.
