On Friday 29th July W&A invited 50 guests to enjoy a day at Musselburgh Racecourse. We've been hosting a similar event since 2003 and can't think of a more relaxing and enjoyable way of entertaining our clients. The racecourse itself is both stunning and hospitable in equal measure. Even the weather always seems to smile on us.
Following a champagne reception in our Melville Street offices we arrived at the course late afternoon to enjoy a superb three course lunch in the Queens Stand. Our sponsorship of several races allowed our guests to judge the "Best Turned Out" horse and to present owners with prizes.
Bill Harvey, a specialist tipster, was on hand to walk us through the card of seven races. His predictions proved invaluable to those of us sensible enough to heed his advice and most of us managed, incredibly, to show a profit for the night.
We returned to the City Centre after 10pm to spend the winnings in the bars of George Street.
